How Our Return Policy Works
Every Season Theory product is made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting — your item is printed and assembled at our fulfillment facilities only after you place your order. This lets us keep things small, intentional, and low-waste.
Because of how we produce, we cannot accept returns for change of mind, wrong size selection, or general dissatisfaction. We strongly encourage you to review our size guides and product details carefully before ordering.
We do, however, stand behind the quality of what we make. If something arrives wrong with your order, we’ll make it right.
When We Accept Returns or Refunds
We will replace or refund your order if any of the following applies, and you contact us within 14 days of receiving your item:
- The product has a printing defect (misprint, faded print, incorrect placement).
- The product has a manufacturing defect (faulty stitching, damaged material, holes, etc.).
- The product arrived damaged during shipping.
- You received the wrong item (different design, size, or color than what you ordered).
What We Do Not Accept
We are unable to offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for:
- Change of mind or buyer’s remorse.
- Wrong size ordered (please consult our size guides before purchasing).
- Color appearing slightly different from screen (monitors and devices display color differently).
- Items returned after the 14-day window.
- Items damaged due to improper care (washing, drying, or storage that doesn’t follow the care instructions).
- Sale items and gift cards.
How to Submit a Claim
To request a return or refund, follow these steps:

Email us at support@seasontheory.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

Include the following:
- Your order number.
- A clear description of the issue.
- Photos of the product showing the defect or damage. For wrong items, include a photo of the item received alongside the packing slip.

Wait for our review. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Once we’ve reviewed your claim, we’ll let you know whether it’s approved and what happens next.

Do not send the item back before contacting us. Items returned without prior approval cannot be processed.
Replacements and Refunds
If your claim is approved, we’ll do one of the following based on the situation:
- Replacement — we’ll produce and ship a new item at no cost to you. This is our default for defects and wrong items.
- Refund — if a replacement isn’t possible or you prefer a refund, we’ll refund the cost of the product to your original payment method.
Refunds are processed within 10 business days of approval. Once processed, please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund — this can take a few more business days depending on your bank.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you haven’t received it, email us at support@seasontheory.com.
Shipping Costs
If your claim is approved, you will not be charged for replacement shipping. If we issue a refund, original shipping costs are non-refundable except when the issue is our fault (defect, damage in transit, or wrong item shipped).
Damaged on Arrival
Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it. If something looks wrong, take photos right away and contact us within 14 days. The sooner you reach out, the easier it is for us to resolve the issue.
